Notice: It is with great joy and thanksgiving to our Lord Jesus that we announce that Willis is in remission from the cancer he has been battling for the last eight years. It was necessary in January of this year to have chemotherapy. He had a large tumor (the size of a man's fist) in his chest cavity that restricted his breathing. The tumor was pushing on his heart and lungs. Willis was admitted to the Stanford hospital for five days and started a regimen of RCHOP Chemotherapy every three weeks for four months. (Six treatments total) Willis endured the brutal chemo and was told in May that he is in remission. The scans were clear, and the chest x-ray showed no cancer. Willis has elected not to receive radiation. Willis feels great; his recovery is nothing short of miraculous, and he is ready to climb Half Dome on September 25th. We, of course, give all the glory to the Lord for his healing power and for giving Willis a second chance. We also want to thank the staff at Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto for all they did to facilitate Willis' recovery. Lord willing, we will be back on the road "praising the Lord with the harp" come January 2011. We hope to play 25 California prisons and 25 Colorado prisons. The only two public performances will be at Tiburon Baptist Church, Tiburon, California March 2011 and Life in Christ Church in Limon, Colorado May 2011. Willis will start booking prisons next month. Thank you for your prayers, cards, letters, and phone calls. You have helped sustain us through these last six months. It hasn't been easy, but the Lord has been faithful and merciful to us. Blessings, Linda and Willis Rice |

"Angels come to mind when one thinks of harpists, but Linda Rice is no angel.
She's real flesh and blood, although her face becomes more radiant as she
performs on her celestial blue electric harp. That doesn't mean that every
song flows like milk and honey. Before you can close your eyes and drift
away, Linda begins to pluck, taunt and tease the strings until an entirely
new sound emerges. It's a sound of radical praise, unmitigated joy, and a
tune to which David could have danced, despite Michal's frown. Now you know
why King Saul wished for a harp and what would have happened if David had
shown up with a big blue harp like Linda's."

"We entered the auditorium where, in short order, all seats were filled.
There, dwarfed by her dazzling blue instrument, we spotted diminutive harpist
Linda Rice, her hands clad in white gloves, her face a study in restrained
mischief. Through 90 minutes of virtuoso performance, Linda worked musical
miracles upon the harp's 47 strings and array of foot pedals. She also
played a remarkable assortment of styles and tempos."

"It has been my privilege to hear Linda Rice on three other occasions. After
each concert I have come away blessed, not only by the amazing sound Linda
achieves with her instrument, but also by her rich testimony and witness for
Jesus Christ. This is music and message you, your family, and your friends
do NOT want to miss!"

"She plays with her hands, but what you really hear is her heart."
